Suntory’s Ultrapour team have been busily scouring Australian bars for the nation’s most professional barkeeps to compete in the final of Ultrapour’s Professional bartending challenge. The competition, that was last year taken out by Hemmesphere‘s Sébastien Derbomez, offers five finalists the chance to compete for a European bar and distillery tour valued at over 10,000 dollars.
After three months of grueling competition, individual judging and mystery shopper visits for all 32 invited competitors, Suntory’s Ultrapour has found its five finalists. Contesting for this year’s title of the Ultrapour Professional is Wizey Baleitavuki, Railway Hotel, Melbourne, Justine Millsom, Glass, Brisbane, Neilsen Braid, Zeta, Sydney, Andy Griffiths, Cookie, Melbourne and Serena O’Callaghan, 1806, Melbourne.
