Pernod-Ricard gets out its Redbreasts…

Sought-after Irish Whiskey, Redbreast, is seeing greater distribution this summer. The 12 year old received 96 points in Jim Murray’s 2012 Whisky Bible and is the only Irish aged pure pot still whiskey around. It is made from malted and unmalted barley and is thrice-distilled in large copper pot stills and aged in American and Spanish oak. It’s made in at the Midleton Distilery, in Cork and has flavours of Christmas cake, vanilla, and hazlenuts. It’s a cracking drop.
