Billed as authentic Cuban food, drink, and music, El Cubano is set to open their doors in time for a festive February, at 13-15 Kellett Way, Kings Cross.
The new venue is an effort between owners Jose Antonio (who was on the pans at La Bodeguita del Medio) and first time hospitality entrant Caroline Parker.
To help bring their ideas to life they’ve brought on board flairtender and former LBDM colleague Ravi Camadoo (ex-theloft): “I’m very excited to be able to show another side to my bartending,” said Camadoo. “The bar itself will be nice and small, making it cosy for any rum enthusiast. The drinks will be fairly simple and classic, but each one with a homemade twist,” he said.
