The Small Bar Association of WA has announced the finalists for the title of Small Bar of the Year 2014.

This is the third year that the Association has put the call out to the WA small bar community to celebrate the best of the burgeoning scene in that state.

The awards night takes place next Monday the 27th of October, and, in addition to both the Critics’ Choice and People’s Choice awards, this year the Association has added a new category: Best New Small Bar Award.

Voting in the People’s Choice Award and the Best New Small Bar Award is open now, and West Australians can cast their vote at the Association’s website here. The Critics’ Choice Award will be judged by Max Veenhuyzen (WA editor for Gourmet Traveller as well as others), Laura Dew (community manager for Yelp) and Australian Bartender editor Sam Bygrave.
