Deli Wine Bar
Sophia Street, Surry Hills
A great wine list is the focus of this new addition to Surry Hills, Deli Wine Bar. It takes over the space where the The Red Door used to be, on Foveaux Street.
They’ve done away with the bartenders of old, and in their place are sommeliers so that the customers are sure to receive a good whack of wine knowledge. They’re headed up by Belinda Mackie, who wrote the wine list, and formerly worked at Sokyo.
It’ll be the kind of place you can go and explore a range of wine styles, thanks to the convenient half glass serving size (you can get a proper glass, too, or go all out and get on the carafes).
They’re open Tuesday through to Saturday from 5pm until late.
