Aussies do well in Spirited Awards Top 10

Tales of the Cocktail has just announced the Top 10 Finalists for this year’s Spirited Awards.

There are some notable Aussies on the list, with The Baxter Inn nominated for Best International Cocktail Bar, as well as Best International Bar Team along with the Black Pearl. Tim Philips (Bulletin Place) has received a nod for International Bartender of the Year, and Jason Crawley has one for Best Bar Mentor.

Eau de Vie Melbourne, Black Pearl, The Everleigh, and The Lobo Plantation are all nominated for Best International High Volume Cocktail Bar. And Sydney newcomer, This Must Be The Place, has got a nomination for Best New International Cocktail Bar.

Australian Bartender has also picked up a nomination in the Best Cocktail & Spirits Publication category, for the third year running.

Finally, in World’s Best Spirits Selection, both Eau de Vie Melbourne and The Baxter Inn get nominations.
