Sydney Bar Week (September 19-22) kicks off this Saturday, and the timetable is packed with some great events — like this ice ball carving masterclass from the team at Tokyo Bird.

Learn to make ice balls for your spirits and cocktails with this practical masterclass led by Tokyo Bird bar manager, Yoshi Onishi. You’ll learn to make crystal clear ice, then get hands-on and chip an ice ball from a large block of ice; finishing with a nip of Hibiki Japanese Harmony over your very own hand-chipped ice ball.

There’s limited places available, so make sure you book now via info@tokyobird.com.au.

It’s just one of the great events in store for Bar Week this year. You can find out more and book tickets for other events like the Indie Tasting, the Business of Bars Conference, and the Bartender Magazine Australian Bar Awards by heading to barweek.com.au.
