Bar Week starts this Saturday, and on Day 3 — Tuesday 22 — the inaugural Indie Tasting takes place at Frankie’s Pizza. In addition to there being more than 50 great independent brands on taste, there’s some nine seminars on the day as well, including a masterclass tasting through the Beenleigh rum range with master distiller Wayne Stewart.
Stewart has some 30+ years of experience in the industry, so this will be a great opportunity to get up and close and personal with some great Australian rum.
The seminars are free with the purchase of an Indie Tasting ticket. Tickets are just $20 online but hurry, as there’s just 50-odd left.
