The Rum Diary Bar is crowdfunding a rum

Melbourne rum bar, The Rum Diary Bar, has been bringing rum-infused hijinks to Fitzroy’s Brunswick Street for a couple of years and now, they want to ramp things up with a commercial production of their popular spiced rum.

They’ve been making their own spiced rum in house, and supply a number of Melbourne bars with it. At present it’s a time-consuming operation — they reuse old bottles and print off their labels at Officeworks — but with this new Pozible campaign they’re hoping to change that.

They’re looking for contributions from as little as $20 (which will get you a shot at the bar, a high five, and a shoutout on social media) all the way up to $10,000 (which will see you get a slice of the business). The money is to help them realise the goal of some $22,000 to produce their first commercial batch of The Rum Diary Spiced Rum.
