Here’s a new bar that’s within a bar.

Busby is the downstairs den beneath Riley St Garage. Its design takes its cues from the garage inspiration that is behind the restaurant and bar upstairs, and was designed by Alexander & Co to draw on the feeling of a mechanic’s workspace (albeit one that’s less about gasoline and more about good looks).

It’s open on Friday and Saturday nights (though a private dining room can be booked on more nights during the week) and the cocktail list numbers nine concoctions, including the Conference cocktail, a whiskey and brandy drink with tiki-like construction from Death & Co in the US.
