On the eve of their North American Tour in 1972, a bartender handed the band their first ever Jose Cuervo Tequila Sunrise cocktail at The Trident bar in San Francisco. The drink instantly became a hit and the cocktail of choice as the band performed 48 shows across 32 cities in the United States as part of their infamous tour. The rest is history.
