Esteemed Melbourne bartender Andy Griffiths has taken on the role of head of mixology for the Speakeasy Group.
The Speakeasy Group includes both Sydney and Melbourne instalments of Eau de Vie, The Roosevelt, Boilermaker House, with a new venue, Mjølner, on the way for Sydney.
Griffiths will be spending time at each of the bars with the remit of “to raise the bar with the drinks we serve and the experience our venues provide to our guests,” says Speakeasy co-owner and operations manager, Greg Sanderson.
For his part, Griffiths is looking forward to the creative challenges ahead.
“I am thrilled to be joining the Speakeasy family during this exciting time,” he says. “I am looking forward to putting all my experience to good use and helping them maintain their leading position as creative cocktail innovators.”
