Spanton Hospitality, the team that brought you Piccolo Bar in Kings Cross, Australian Bartender mag and Sydney Bar Week have announced that they will be opening Vermuteria, a second venue in Kings Cross in January 2023, after successfully securing a liquor license for the premises, the former Café Hernandez on Kings Cross Road, last week.
The Maybe Group and Public Hospitality are joining forces to launch Mexican bar El Primo Sanchez in Paddington’s The Rose Hotel this December. The partnership involves the bar occupying the ground floor of the Paddington pub The Rose Hotel, which was recently purchased by Public Hospitality Group, headed by up-and-coming hotelier John Adgemis.

This morning, the owners of award-winning Sydney cocktail bar Maybe Sammy have announced a partnership with TFE Hotels to manage the food and beverage offering of a new premium hotel experience due to open early 2021 on the corner of George and Hunter Streets in the Sydney CBD. The working title for the new bar/restaurant is Deans on 22.
