Capturing the imagination of Australia’s bartenders in its inaugural year, Club Suntory are pleased to announce Ultrapour’s Professional bartending competition is back in full swing in 2010. Once again its focus is on bartenders’ skills, style and above all the professionalism which is so crucial to our industry. Ultrapour Ambassadors Matt Barnett, Mick Formosa and Dom O’Brien invited a select group of Australia’s best bartenders who embody the professional work ethic to compete for the title of Ultrapour’s Professional.
The challenge:
*Create an original cocktail
*Invite your Ultrapour Ambassador to your venue to sample your drink, your style and your
professionalism
Throughout the three months from March to May, the bartenders will all be visited by a judging panel to show off their cocktail creations and hosting skill in their own venue. They will be judged on criteria assessing their complete proficiency, from cleanliness and presentation to bar skills and style. The five most professional bartenders will be selected and flown to Sydney in June to vie for the crown of Ultrapour’s Professional, winning a trip of a lifetime visiting European bars and distilleries with $1000.00
spending money.
