The Walk for Haiti – a Melbourne based charity cocktail event held on Thursday May 6 – was met with huge success raising $5730.00 for the UN’s World Food Programme.
Thrown by independent bar owners and bartenders, Melbourne’s cocktail community came together for a wonderful cause – to help Haitians rebuild their lives.
The event kicked off at Berlin Bar before the group of approximately 50 participants went on a tippling tour of some of Melbourne’s top venues; Double Happiness, 1806, and Blue Diamond, before enjoying a final cocktail and live music at the award winning Golden Monkey.
The event was proudly supported by Bacardi Superior, Chairman’s Reserve, English Harbour, Havana Club and Mount Gay rums.
