After months of waiting one of Melbourne’s iconic eating and drinking venues has reopened its upstairs dining room. Having undergone extensive renovations the newly refreshed fit out includes a dedicated cocktail lounge that gives guests a new way to enjoy the beachside ambience. Bar Manager Adam Petrie heads up the new addition and is on hand to mix you up a tempting treat. With summer coming sooner than we might care to think Petrie is offering a selection of Bellini’s, White and Blood Peach, Apricot and Rhubarb and Lemon and Gin to help you start an evening or perhaps you could indulge in a glass of Leeuwin Estate Riesling. Fresh in from the water you could find yourself enjoying a Cricketers Arms Lager or a Amber Ale by the boys at Mountain Goat Brewery. Stokehouse also offers a tight list of premium spirits and aperitif options. I’d sit back and enjoy an Aperol Sour or a healthy pour of Montenegro served long on ice with a nice wedge of fresh cut orange.
