From the team that has been serving you up great aperitif and even better service at Buzo Restaurant, Sydney comes their latest offering – The Wine Library. James Hird, Traci Trinder and Todd Garrett are the brains behind the new venue and are bringing their years of experience and passion for all things wine for you to enjoy. Appropriately, the wine list sits first and foremost as the centre piece and at around 350 options that range from under $10 to over $10,000 – so you should find something to suit your budget. Some starters; NV Marc Bredif brut Vouvray, would be a lovely little sparkling Chenin blanc aperitif, slip into a glass of Vermentino with some nibbles and finally pull on a Barbera from the northern Italia’s Alba region. These guys are following a slowly growing and fantastic trend that means you can regulate your glass size and order either 100ml or 150ml allowing you to sample a little bit more. The team says that the food, “is predominately European provincial sourced from France, Italy, Spain and further afield and the menu will change daily reflecting different eating experiences and will always focus on value.”
