This place lives up to its name, being securely tucked away, just off the roundabout at Five-ways, Paddington. If you find it though, you’ll enjoy its laid back style and simplicity. The Hideout offers a small selection of grazing food to enjoy while sampling some of the fairly numerous wines on offer. Come summer, there should be a premium spirit service available too as well as some cocktails. The Hideout is offering those who reside down one of the many ‘muses’ that line this part of Paddington there very own retreat, a place to grab a coffee in the morning or to stop by in the evening for some aperitivo style relaxation. The venue is small and cozy, and is a real treat to hideout in. Trent Bramley is the Managing Director, and is usually on hand to talk about the wines currently available. ‘With summer, we will look to expand the list and have a few more things on offer,’ he explained when Bartender dropped in. The interior seems to be set out inside out, with the ‘kitchen’ area facing away from you so that everything is on show, giving you the feeling that you’re right in on the action. The Hideout is a good pace and a good vibe and is a great place to come and unwind.
