Entries for the Angostura Cocktail Challenge closed on Monday, August 8 and island2island has announced the NSW state finalists. For the chance at 1 in 6 boarding passes to the Australian Final (to be held in Melbourne’s Crown Casino) each state finalist will now have to create two original drinks.
The first drink must contain Angostura Rum (5yr old, 7yr old, 1919 or 1824) and a minimum of 5 dashes Angostura aromatic bitters, while the second drink, the lemon, lime and bitters creative, requires bartenders to present their individual take on this Australian classic beverage.
The NSW state final will be held Monday, August 22 at La Bodeguita Del Medio, 125 York Street, Sydney. Be there from 7pm sharp!
