Ben Walsh and Dan Rice (Goldfish, Kings Cross & Hunter Valley and the Lansdowne Hotel) have been joined by Jules Damjano in their latest venture – The Bligh Bar, on the inner CBD hub of Blight St. “We have big plans for it,” says Walsh.

“The idea will be New York style financial sector bar/deli with a cool NY bar feel. There will be a deli with hanging cured meats, home baked bread for Reuben sandwiches (that’ll be available take away) and meat boards too.” Damjano comes on board as a partner in the venture after having run their Goldfish operations as Group Manager. “It’s a great way to retain wonderful staff,” Walsh said of Damjano’s ascension to business partner.

With four venues now trading as part of the Sazerac Company’s portfolio their next move could prove to be in Parramatta with some promising opportunities showing themselves in what is often considered Sydney’s soon-to-be second CBD. The Bligh Bar, 2A Blight St, Sydney.
