This new bar & café is looking set to revolutionise the Chippendale area. Up for offer is a mix of well crafted cocktails, imported and local wines, draft brews and bar food to match. The Freda’s crew make regular jaunts to the Sydney fish market and Flemington markets in order to source the best and most interesting produce around. Billing their service as ‘sharp yet simple’ they aim to give customers incomparable food and drink.

Designed and fitted-out by David and Philip Abram architects the venue showcases raw building materials such as Oregon, pine and zinc which compliments the character of the 100 year old warehouse. The custom built chairs, tables and benches are the result of their collaboration with a highly skilled carpenter. Cocktails on offer include: the Alaskan Highball; Plymouth gin, Green Chartreuse, fresh lime and tonic, or their 50/50 Sazerac, a equal mix of Remy Martin VSOP and either Wild Turkey or Rittenhouse whiskey – well stirred with Peychaud’s Bitters and Le Mercier Absinthe.
