Time is running out to get your entries in to Glenfiddich’s innovative new comp, The Pioneers. They’re looking for Australia’s most pioneering bartenders to create two cocktails inspired by their favourite pioneer (see below for the specs).
The top 10 finalists will have their creations printed in the Glenfiddich Pioneers cocktail booklet that will accompany all sales of Glenfiddich 12 Year Old over the Christmas period, and receive an expense paid trip to Sydney for the grand final.
The two winning Ultimate Cocktail Pioneers will be sent on an adventurous trip to Scotland, visiting the Glenfiddich distillery, cruising Loch Ness, and discovering the best bars of Edinburgh. Check out the specs below and for more info, email pioneers@glenfiddichcollective.com.
1. Create two cocktails inspired by your favourite pioneer.
- Cocktail 1: An easy to make cocktail using Glenfiddich 12 Year Old, using no more than 3 commonly available ingredients.
- Cocktail 2: Your most ground breaking creation using Glenfiddich 14 Year Old Rich Oak or Glenfiddich 15 Year Old.
2. Place one of your creations on your venue’s drinks list for July and August 2013.
3. Email the following to pioneers@glenfiddichcollective.com by June 30th 2013:
- Your name and venue.
- Your two cocktail recipes.
- The story of the Pioneer who inspired your drinks.
- A high quality, well lit photo of yourself with your two cocktails on your bar.
