David Wondrich collaborates with New York Distilling on new aged gin



Long time Brooklyn resident, booze historian and author of the oft-quoted Imbibe! and Punch: the Delights (and Dangers) of the Flowing Bowl, Dave Wondrich, has teamed up with New York Distilling Company to produce this distinctive new gin, the Chief Gowanus New-Netherlander gin. They’ve taken rye grown in New York state, double distilled it in Brooklyn and run it through a third time with juniper and Cluster hops, from a recipe put down in 1809. It is then rested in oak for three months.
