If you’ve ever wanted to get an idea of the brewing process at work, check out this timelapse video that Sierra Nevada produced.
It shows four open fermenters filled with wort and shows just how much action takes place when beer gets brewing. The fermenters hold some 12,400 gallons of wort (that’s about 47,000 litres — which is the equivalent of more than 110,000 schooners), and as it ferments it “thrashes” about, spilling over the top of the fermenters.
It’s definitely well worth a look.
