Winter is well and truly here, so once you’ve had your eye-opener (have you had a read of our story on the Morning Glory Fizz?), you might like to get a little single malt into your next cocktail.
After all, cold weather calls for strong spirits.
Well, from our May issue shoot at Sydney’s Stitch Bar comes these two recipes — they’re packed full of flavour courtesy of the ever peaty Ardbeg, and are definitely worth a look at.
Or you could just head into Stitch Bar and ask them to make them for you. At least it’ll be warm in there.
Costanza
30ml Ardbeg Uigeadail
20ml Picon Biere
10ml lager reductionStir with ice and then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a side of pretzels.

Smoking Rocket
30ml Ardbeg 10
20ml Calle 23 Blanco Tequila
20ml lime juice
25ml agave syrup
1 slice of chilliShake all ingredients, strain over ice in a rocks glass.
