Late last month, we brought you the news that the team behind Sydney venues, Neighbourhood and Henrietta Supper Club, were expanding their group with a new venue in Newtown.
That new addition, Raven’s Eye, is now open.
Named for the bar in the movie Donnie Brasco, the bar is loosely Italian-American in offering. “We’re trying to avoid a lot of mafia cliches,” said one of the owners, Simon McGoram, “but there’s a little bit of that flavour coming through in the menus. It’s more mid-20th century American-Italian vibe with the food and drink,” McGoram said.
