Now with Sydney Bar Week done for another year, our attention is turning to Europe’s biggest celebration of bar culture, Bar Convent Berlin.
Taking place on October 6th and 7th in Berlin, Bar Convent Berlin will see over 200 exhibitors with more than 550 brands on show to some 10,000 people.
Why should you go to Bar Convent Berlin? Well, aside from the fact that it’s in Berlin, there’s many reasons why you should.
The event kicks off with the Mixology Market the night before, where guests will sample drinks from top bartenders and a live stream of the 9th Mixology Bar Awards on the big screen. At the exhibition proper, they’ve got a great lineup of speakers who’ll be conducting panel talks and seminars on the Mixology Stage (featuring the likes of speakers such as Philip Duff, Ivy Mix, Jeffrey Morgenthaler, Ian Burrell (who you may remember from such events as this Bar Week just past) and Anistatia Miller and Jared Brown.
That’s all in addition to four demo bars offering tutorials and tasting and seminars — it’s going to be a packed couple of days.
