After an absence of nearly three years, Laird’s 100 Proof Straight Apple Brandy is finally available again in Australia. Strong global demand for this apple brandy combined with the time it takes to age it, resulted in a serious out-of-stock situation across all markets.
This is the original apple brandy originally made famous by Laird and Company way back in 1780.
Laird’s 100 Proof Straight Apple Brandy is aged 6 – 10 years. It is Bottled in Bond to ensure quality and authenticity. This means that it must be straight unblended spirit, aged a minimum 4 years, bottled in one season at one distillery and at 100 proof (50% alcohol). It must be stored in federally bonded warehouses under US government supervision and it must have numbered labels which identify its origin.
James France of Vanguard comments: “The mainstay of the Laird brand will always be the applejack, but it’s fantastic to have the original 100 Proof Straight Apple Brandy available again as we’ve been unable to supply orders for such a long time. But it’s only available in very limited quantities so you’ll need to be quick.”
Laird’s 100 Proof Straight Apple Brandy will be available from Vanguard Luxury Brands from the beginning of October.
I wish to purchase 10 or 12 bottles of Laird’s 100 Proof Straight Apple Brandy but am not able to find a source. Can you help?
