Sydney bar Jangling Jack’s is one of the finest examples of a great neighbourhood bar — sitting on Victoria street in Kings Cross (or Potts Point, however you want to say it), it offers respite from the world outside, and it’s open seven days a week. When you need them, the bartenders of Jangling Jack’s are there, putting a well-made drink in front of you.
And they make great drinks, like this one from bartender Rachael Merritt. This is a simple drink in appearance, but as you know, appearances can be deceiving — the subtle balance between the strong, sweet and bitter components of this drink is tough to achieve, but delicious to drink.
It’s a great reason to move into Jangling Jack’s neighbourhood.
