Ginger Soda
With some trademark gingery spice, agave, and citrus, this is one ginger soda recipe you should have up your sleeve.
- 50 ml ginger (strained juice)
- 100 ml lemon juice
- 100 ml agave syrup
- 450 ml water
- 2 soda bulbs
- Combine ingredients in a soda syphon and charge with the soda bulbs.
This ginger soda recipe is a great base to riff on
If it’s summer, you’ll want long drinks that refresh and sustain; often that means the use of a mixer to lengthen things, and if you have the time it’s great to make your own.
All you need to get the job done is some quality fresh ingredients, a soda syphon, and a couple of soda bulbs.
The recipe we have here goes great with any number of spirits, but we particularly like it with the Mezcal Mule recipe we’ve adapted from PDT’s cocktail book.
It’s also a great recipe to use as a base for riffing: substitute the ginger out for basil, perhaps some other herbs — really, there’s no end to the variations this base recipe offers.
