Here’s Tim Pope’s winning recipe, Shingetsu

Here’s the winning drink from the Apprentice category of The Perfect Blend 2018 from Tim Pope.

Shingetsu 

  • 50 ml Chita Whisky
  • 7.5 ml Bowmore 12 YO
  • 10 ml lemongrass and ginger syrup
  • 10 ml With friends Sweet vermouth
  • 7.5 ml dry vermouth
  • 7.5 ml lemon juice
  • 2 drops homemade orange bitters
  • 3 drops homemade cardamom bitters
  1. Stir down all ingredients with ice in a mixing glass.
  2. Strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass, and garnish with orange and ginger praline.
