Reece Griffiths finds the regular Tommy’s Margarita a touch sweet, because of the agave syrup employed in sweetening the drink. So for the house Margarita at Chula, he takes agave syrup and cuts it with sparkling wine, and fino sherry.
Chula Margarita
- 60 ml Tequila Blanco
- 20 ml citrus
- 15 ml Champagne Agave ((2 parts Light Agave Syrup (from outside of DO areas) 1 part fino sherry 1 part dry sparkling wine))
- Shake & Strain into rocks glass.
- Add cubed ice.
- Garnish: dehydrated orange wheel.
