Isabel’s Savoury Coffee recipe

United behind a mission to bring craft coffee into the night, Mr Black wants people to radically rethink the role of coffee in the modern bar. Urged on by ambassadors Martin Hudak & Jimmy Snelgrove, many of Australia’s best bars have taken up the challenge.

Take a look at Kate McGraw’s cocktail, Savoury Coffee.

Savoury Coffee

  • 15 ml Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
  • 20 ml miso liqueur
  • 20 ml burnt ends Armagnac
  • 20 ml fermented coffee cordial
  • 7.5 ml wattle honey
  • 2 dashes saline
  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and stir.
  2. Strain into a rocks glass over ice.
  3. Garnish with a miso caramel crisp.
