Chase produce their spirits entirely from scratch. Their family have a passion for farming and grow three different varieties of potato, which gets distilled into their range of spirits. Their Chase Original Potato Vodka has 250 glorious British potatoes in every bottle! The potato is initially peeled and mashed into a pulp and then heated using steam to break down the potato starch into sugars, before being fermented and distilled. The whole process from field to bottle takes up to two weeks.
Unlike most distilleries, Chase makes their gin from scratch in their bespoke copper gin still, Ginny. Botanicals are added both into the belly of the still and vapour infused through the carter head chamber giving different complexities to their gin. For their core product Chase GB Gin, they infuse juniper, followed by cinnamon, ginger, almond, coriander, cardamom, cloves, angelica root, liquorice root and lemon peels to ensure a distinct, full-bodied flavor. They then use their GB Gin to create their range of flavoured gins.
Chase has a truly sustainable approach to farming and creating spirits, which is why nothing is let go to waste. Energy is created from the onsite bio-boiler, Huxley; fueled by pruning’s from the Chase apple orchards, and all ingredients used in their spirits are sourced from the Chase farm where possible, or from trusted local suppliers.
“Chase is made with such high-quality ingredients we are certain drinkers and bartenders in Australia will be excited to taste the range and start mixing with these stunning spirits,” concludes Nick Nairn.
Chase joins Stuart Alexander’s growing portfolio which includes MONIN, The West Winds Gin, Tabasco, AVOSH Premium Vodkas, Fentimans Premium Mixer Range and evian Waters.
