It’s with great excitement that we look towards a better 2021 and the return of Sydney Bar Week. So, start planning, as we are locked in for 18-21 September 2021 with all the usual suspects returning, including the 20th year of the Bartender Magazine Bar Awards, the Indie Spirits Tasting, the Business of Bars Conference and the Whiskey Roadshow, as well as a slew of other events put on by our sponsors and bar partners.
Bar Week founder Dave Spanton says: “We are excited to be forging ahead with Sydney Bar Week 2021 with a fantastic response from suppliers who are ready to throw their weight behind this 4-day festival.
“We are positive that come September 2021 the industry will be well overdue for the country’s biggest annual trade event. I can’t wait to get back to Bar Week and reconnect with all our industry friends from around the country after the hell of 2020!”
Charlie Lehmann from Sydney’s Rambin’ Rascal Tavern agrees: “Sydney Bar Week and the Bar Awards are pillars of our bartending and hospitality industry. They recognised the best of the best and are essential for our industry and those who work, live, love and exist in it to grow and excel on the world stage. I’m excited to see it come back bigger and better than ever in 2021.”
Adam Barton, Director of Brisbane’s Drunken Monkey Group says: “SBW is one of a kind and the biggest representation of industry leaders and newcomers to come together at once and celebrate this amazing industry we are lucky enough to be involved in. For a few days we get to socialise, learn and party with the best in the business. We would not miss this amazing event and cannot wait for 2021.”
