It’s time to start sharing some of the amazing events that are hitting Sydney Bar Week when it lands in September.
This one is from Jacob Goss, the operator of The Rum Diary bars in both Melbourne and Newcastle. He’s been hosting these events for a while now, and we’re lucky that he is bringing it to Sydney for Sydney Bar Week thanks to Bacardi and De Kuyper and our good friends at The Lobo.
This comp is about encouraging amateur bar staff to step into the ring, going head-to-head using a featured rum brand as a platform. Six bartenders with less than three years experience from six different bars have 10 minutes to serve as many drinks as they can, whilst being judged by the brand reps.
