Competition to Clermont was an incentive run as part of this year’s The Scholarship Program, by The Blend. The prize that was up for grabs (for lucky two Scholars!) is a once in a lifetime experience!
An all-expenses trip to the home of Bourbon, Kentucky to dance the night away to MUSE- live from the distillery grounds at the global Jim Beam Welcome Session! (Whoa that’s a mouthful, but we didn’t want to spare any details!)
In its 2nd year, The Scholarship program is designed for hospitality professionals, no matter their level of experience.
It is a program for hospitality professionals to further develop themselves personally and in their career. In venue, behind the bar and beyond!

Runner Up: Michael Jury, Shady Pines Saloon
MOST REFRESHING CATEGORY WINNER:
Winner: Gorge Camorra, 18th Amendment
Runner Up: Grace Rawlins, Memphis Slims House of Blues
Both Ana and Gorge will be departing in early October to join other global winners for The Welcome Session at the Jim Beam distillery. But that’s not all, while in Kentucky they will also be heading to Maker’s Mark for some distillery education sessions too.
The runner ups will be experiencing a VIP Barweek package including flights, accommodation and attending The Scholars reunion event and the Bar Awards!
