Before + After Bar in Brisbane was born out of George Curtis’s love for the concept of indulging in Aperitifs and Digestifs ‘before’ and ‘after’ dining. 

George has a wealth of knowledge in the global hospitality world, working as a bar manager and also responsible for curating cocktail menus and inspiring the likes of venue back bar’s in the UK, New Zealand and Australia.

Before + After Bar in Brisbane was born out of George Curtis’s love for the concept of indulging in Aperitifs and Digestifs ‘before’ and ‘after’ dining. 

The ‘Before’ cocktail list features light, clean and approachable cocktails that will feature seasonal, native ingredients such as beeswax and native violet.

Featuring an outstanding backbar of 45 Amari (15 which are vintage), the ‘After’ concept of the bar is represented through the post-dinner experience of the Digestif menu. Before + After invites city wanderers to step in and settle down to sip on an array of Digestif options and maybe even finish off the evening with a ‘drunken’ affogato for dessert, swapping the coffee for any recommended Amaro.

A substantial menu of bar food will also be available and every table will be greeted with complimentary chips in light of aperitivo style dining and drinking.
