Melbourne’s newest taphouse opened its doors late last year on the corner of Little Bourke Street and Amphlett Lane. Spearheaded by two of Australia’s hospitality’s finest Andrea Gualdi (ex Maybe-Sammy) and local Melburnian chef Ian Curley the venue seats 120 guests, serves exceptional drinks and elevated pub classics in a welcoming and upbeat atmosphere.

In partnership with a food scientist the cocktail list is completely local, sustainable and consistent, including signature cocktails such as the Wattle Seed Negroni and the Eucalyptus Smoked Margarita.

The beverage program led by Gualdi showcases a variety of tipples on tap including craft beers, wines and a unique selection of Australian-inspired handcrafted cocktails. In partnership with a food scientist the cocktail list is completely local, sustainable and consistent, including signature cocktails such as the Wattle Seed Negroni and the Eucalyptus Smoked Margarita.

Alongside their drinks menu, elevated pub classics such as smoked bone marrow on toast, oysters and breaded chicken breast are  available for guests to indulge in. Amphlett House’s sophisticated yet fun interior has been executed by award-winning interior designer Luchetti Krelle and gives a nod to the building’s 80s era.

Amphlett House is open from 11:30am till late Monday through Saturday and 11:30am – 6:30pm on Sundays.
