Overnight the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards announced their Top 10 finalists for 2023. The winners will be announced during the Tales of the Cocktail Festival, which is celebrating its 21st-year in New Orleans, July 23-28, 2023.
From an Aussie perspective, there were some new and old faces featured in the list including:
International Bartender of the Year – Martin Hudak from Maybe Sammy & Luke Whearty from Byrdi
Best International Brand Ambassador – Tim Philips-Johansson — Johnnie Walker
Best International Cocktail Bar – Maybe Sammy, Sydney & Byrdi, Melbourne
Best International Hotel Bar – Dean & Nancy’s on 22, Sydney
Best International Restaurant Bar – Continental Deli Bar Bistro, Sydney
Best New International Cocktail Bar – Bar Planet, Sydney & Caretaker’s Cottage, Melbourne
