There aren’t too many bars that can lay claim to turning 21. One thing we know for sure is that the bar industry is fickle and bars come in and out of favour. So it’s a real testament to the wonderful Tash Conte and her team that they have survived beyond two decades and continue to be a beloved fixture on the Melbourne bar scene.
On August 13, there will be a bumper party to celebrate this massive milestone with a huge bar takeover led by one of the UK’s most celebrated cocktail legends, Iain MacPherson (picture below).
MacPherson is the founder of renowned Edinburgh cocktail bar Panda and Sons, will be mixing bevvies from 8pm. The next day he will also be hosting an exclusive masterclass where attendees will be among the first to learn about his secret recipes as he shares them for the first time.
