The countdown to Sydney Bar Week 2026 continues, and next up we’re heading to The Rocks, where a taste of Mexico City’s bar scene is coming to Sydney for one afternoon only.
On Sunday, 13 September, Tailor Room brings Precopeo – A Licorería Limantour and Despacho Margarita Takeover, bringing together margaritas, Mexican street food, vinyl DJs and cocktails from one of Mexico’s most celebrated bars.
Precopeo – the Mexican tradition of gathering for drinks, snacks and music before a night out – comes to Sydney for one afternoon only.
The festivities begin at The Garden in Argyle Stores, The Rocks, from 3–5pm, with signature margaritas by Mexico City’s Despacho Margarita, vinyl DJs and Mexican street food.
Then the party moves to Tailor Room, where Licorería Limantour (No. 52 in The World’s 50 Best Bars), hosted by Oscar Valle, takes over with signature cocktails and the vibrant atmosphere that has made it one of Mexico’s most celebrated bars.
Sydney Bar Week runs from 12–16 September 2026, bringing together bartenders, venues, brands and industry professionals for five days of takeovers, guest shifts, masterclasses, parties and events across Sydney. We’ll be dropping a new event spotlight each day in the lead-up, giving you a closer look at what’s happening throughout the week.
