100 Years of Hospitality brings industry veterans together for Sydney Bar Week Panel

The countdown to Sydney Bar Week 2026 continues, and next up some of Sydney’s longest-serving hospitality professionals are coming together to share what they’ve learnt from decades spent behind bars, running venues and shaping the industry.

On Sunday, 13 September, 100 Years of Hospitality will take over Dean & Nancy on 22 from 1pm–3pm for a panel discussion covering the changing face of hospitality, what might be missing from the modern industry and, of course, a few stories from the glory days.

Join a panel discussion with four of Sydney’s long-serving hospitality professionals. Jason Crawley (Crawley’s Bartender Syrups), Stefano Catino (Maybe Group), Pasan Wijesena (multi-bar owner) and Emma Franceschini (Swillhouse Head of Bars), hosted by Barney Toy (Dean & Nancy on 22).

This is aimed to highlight and showcase the missing pieces of modern hospitality with firsthand knowledge and some funny stories from the “Glory Days.”

Thanks to William Grant & Sons, Glenfiddich Highballs will be flowing.

Entry is first come, first served, with a capacity of 60.
