For the first time, the Australian Bar Awards are opening their doors to the wider hospitality industry, with tickets still available for the 25th Annual Australian Bartender Australian Bar Awards this September.
Taking place on Wednesday, 16 September at Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf, the Bar Awards will once again bring together bartenders, bar owners, operators, brand representatives and industry professionals from across the country to celebrate the people and venues shaping Australian hospitality.
But this year, things are a little different.
Traditionally, attendance at the Australian Bar Awards has been largely reserved for finalists and invited industry guests. In 2026, tickets have been made available to the wider hospitality industry, giving more people the chance to be in the room for one of the biggest nights on the Australian bar calendar.
That means you don’t need to be nominated for an award to come along. Whether you’re a bartender, venue owner, manager, brand ambassador, supplier or simply work within the hospitality industry, you can now secure a ticket and join the celebrations.
This year also marks the 25th Annual Australian Bar Awards, making it a particularly big one. The night will see awards presented across a wide range of categories, recognising the country’s best bars, bartenders, operators and industry talent.
The awards also mark the culmination of Sydney Bar Week 2026, which runs from 12–16 September and features five days of bar takeovers, competitions, masterclasses, parties, guest shifts and industry events across Sydney.
With the finalists already announced and the countdown now well underway, there’s not long to go until this year’s winners are revealed.
