More than 600 bar industry professionals packed the room, where more than 30 awards were presented, covering everything from Host of the Year to the best cocktail list.
On Monday, Joey Folkersma, from Darwin took out the title of Australian Bartender of the Year for 2024. The competition presented by Australian Bartender magazine and sponsored by Hendrick’s Gin and Monkey Shoulder Whisky.
For a whopping 22 years, Sydney Bar Week has been bringing the Australian bar industry together. And this year is no different. Make sure you’ve got your bags packed and you’re ready to roll as it all kicks off on Saturday!
