The DNA of Glen Grant distillery, if you ask master distiller Dennis Malcolm, is tradition and innovation. Established in 1840 by brothers John and James Grant, the distillery and its grounds are without doubt the most spectacular we’ve seen.
It’s likely that Glenfiddich was the first ever single malt you tasted. The distillery began distilling on Christmas Day in 1887, adding The Balvenie distillery in 1892, and five generations later they’re still going
There is quite the modern operation going on at The Glenlivet. They’ve got 26 stills running, and 32 wooden washbacks, and they’re using a liquid yeast for a fermentation process
With Tasmanians now being encouraged to spend more time visiting state attractions, Lawrenny Estate Distillery has launched a new advertising campaign inviting local visitors to their cellar door.
The Glendronach Distillery is just a short drive out of Dufftown, through rolling green hills. Once there, you will find their sherry bomb whisky heaven.
