Here’s how they make the Seelbach cocktail at The Gresham

The Seelbach is a banging drink — The Gresham’s bar manager, Ryan Lane, credits it with rehydrating himself on his first ever visit to the drinkapalooza that is Tales of the Cocktail — and they do it a touch differently here, employing rose sparkling wine instead off the usual champagne.

Seelbach

  • 35 ml Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel
  • 15 ml triple sec
  • 4 dash Angostura aromatic bitters
  • 4 dash Peychaud’s Bitters
  • Sparkling Rosé (to top)
  1. Stir down all ingredients except the rose with ice in a mixing glass.
  2. Strain into a cocktail glass a top with sparkling rose.
