Try this Root Beer Fizz from Surly’s

In the November issue we looked at Surly’s in Sydney’s Surry Hills, and we went there because they do some great eats and drinks.

It’s all about the Americana there, and you don’t get much more American than bourbon. In this Root Beer Fizz, Surly’s bar manager Simon Hopkins pairs the great American spirit with another iconic American drink, A&W root beer.

Throw in a little hit of citrus for some acid, and a little egg white for froth, and you’ve got a new favourite way to imbibe American’s favourite spirit.
