Kubrick’s

Kubrick’s doesn’t look like a lot of other bars in Sydney. Owner Tim Maxwell and operator Dee Stewart have opted for a minimalist, bright space — you might even say it leans towards a feminine design aesthetic — with not a dark wooden bar or piece of taxidermy in sight. They opened up at the start of January and if the cured meats (a meat slicer at the bar is always a welcome sight) and shaved, truffled pecorino don’t have you happy at the bar then the short, quirky wine offering and beer list will (we opted for a glass of minerally muscadet when we popped by).
