The lads behind Sydney venues Grandma’s and The Wild Rover have added a new bar to their stable — Wilhelmina’s.
They seem to be venturing ever so slowly out of the CBD (where Grandma’s, their first bar is), with Balmain being the location for their latest exercise in the small, characterful bars they specialise in opening.

There’s a big emphasis on food at Wilhelmina’s with Jamie Fleming on board. Fleming is formerly of Sydney rum bar The Lobo Plantation and fresh from a successful stint on television (he showed how bartenders can take it to the chefs on Masterchef). The food focus is all about what is local, and combined with the team’s winning drinks, they’ve created a great local boozer.
